John Pleasants, BS ’96
Vice President, Automation and Process Optimization, Navy Federal Credit Union
Mr. John Pleasants has spent his entire career at Navy Federal Credit Union, where he has served in various leadership roles with particular expertise in internal audit, finance, strategic planning, and project management. In addition to his current role as vice president for cloud and IT financial strategy and operations, he also served as a vice president for areas encompassing business processes and accounting in the strategy management, human resources, and comptroller departments. Earlier, he was an assistant vice president for accounting-related functions in Navy Federal’s lending and comptroller units. A George Mason accounting alumnus, he began his career at Navy Federal as an internal auditor. He is a founding member of the credit union’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
